It’s always fun to work with friendly andtalented people.

Approached by ground-breaking artist manager,Chris “Kap” Kappy at MakeWake Management, Kelly went to work bringing Kap’s vision to reality.  

As Luke’s first big arena tour, everything had to be right.   Having a seasoned Production Manager like Jerry Sloan made the process fun and easy.   Luke Combs doesn’t like (or need)substantial production – just give him a spotlight and a stool and he will own the crowd!  

The challenge was developing a clean, but comfortable production to let Luke be Luke, while giving him the layers required to keep the show exciting and nuanced.  

In collaboration with Fireplay, a sleek, barn-wood stage set was designed.  The backdrop was a fun circular “drum skin” lighting truss, masking a circular LED wall with echoing lighting truss returns.    

The effect was a strong, classic, look that gave Luke what he needed to sell out venue after venue on this special tour.
